225th Anniversary of Huck's Defeat
The 225th anniversary of Hucks Defeat will be held July 8-10, 2005 at
York County, S.C. Everyone is invited to attend this exhibit of Revolutionary War in the S.C backcountry, an all day
synposium of the battles in the S.C upstate during the summer of 1780 and four different battle reenactments. Check

interested as Patrick McGriff fought here with his commanding officer and friend, General Edward Lacey.

McGriff-Buzbee Reunion Update
The annual McGriff-Buzbee reunion was held in Ruskin, Florida on February
26th. There were approximately 150 people present. The McGriffs married into the Buzbee family which is a very
large family. All the McGriffs and many of the Buzbees are linage of Col. Patrick McGriff
'GenFest' Weekend in Muncie, Indiana June 9th - 10th.
For all you McGriff's who have ancestor's in Indiana there will be a genealogy "GenFest" the
weekend of Friday, June 9th and Saturday, June 10, 2005. A great opportunity to learn more about your Indiana ancestors.
It will be in Muncie, Randolph County, Indiana. The event is FREE and all it will cost you is for your lodging and meals.
